Sleep close to nature, from misty mountain ridges to the banks of the Nile.
Uganda's accommodation landscape is uniquely shaped by its rich biodiversity. Staying here places you in the heart of raw nature, where the sounds of the jungle form your nightly lullaby.
In gorilla-tracking sectors like Bwindi, eco-lodges sit on high ridges facing the ancient forest canopy. In savannah parks like Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth, riverside camps offer views of hippos and elephants visiting the water right below your veranda.
We partner with vetted, community-conscious lodges that prioritize sustainability, employing local guides and using solar energy to minimize their ecological footprint.

The lodge consists of 14 simple but comfortable rooms, all with en-suite facilities such as a bathtub, hot showers, free WiFi and a balcony. Enjoy delicious meals at the restaurant, which even offers guests the opportunity to help prepare some typical African dishes in their contemporary kitchen. Afterwards, you can eat your meals inside or outside on a terrace overlooking the lake. Due to its proximity to the Rushaga sector of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the Lake Muhele Gorilla Lodge serves as an ideal base for your gorilla trekking adventures. The Kibale Forest Camp offers 12 African safari-style tents under wooden structures, comfortably furnished with twin or double beds. Each tent has a dressing room and an ensuite bathroom with a flush toilet and hot and cold water shower. The bar and restaurant are situated in a beautiful wooden grass-thatched building, serving set menus but meeting any dietary requirements if informed beforehand. The open structure blends perfectly with the surroundings and overlooks a colourful garden. Early birds will feel right at home in this lush green environment, as you wake up to the melodious sounds of dozens of tropical birds with the smell of coffee coming your way!

The Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge is located on the Nteko Ridge at an impressive height of 2,161 meters (7,090 ft) in the southern section of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (just 300 metres away from the Nkuringo sector gate). This eco-lodge blends seamlessly into its rugged surroundings, offering sweeping vistas of Bwindi and the Virunga volcanos. All 18 rooms are designed for comfort and feature a warm bedroom, an ensuite bathroom with solar powered hot showers (and a bathtub in the Deluxe rooms) and a private living area where a fireplace flickers (except in the standard rooms). But the true luxury lies outside, on your private veranda, where you soak in the majesty of the landscape. The lodge offers two dining spaces – both serving delicious meals from home-grown ingredients and warmly furnished with fireplaces – whereas the upstairs lounge also has in-house craft shop. And the best way to rejuvenate after your gorilla trek is a holistic massage or an exclusive beauty ritual at Nkuringo’s ‘Mist Spa’.
